The latest smartphone Nokia, Lumia 920 is set to launch in India. A Microsoft Windows Phone 8 based smartphone; Lumia 920 can be called as a recycled design of other Windows phones. Beautiful and splendid, Nokia Lumia 920 comes with impressive specs and does support NFC, LTE connectivity and wireless charging.

So, is this new phone from Nokia can be termed as crusher from Apple iPhone 5? The facts and truth are yet to be considered when phone launches in India. But as of now, going through the hands-on preview, it can be said that 920 seems to appear as a big contender for most of the other smartphones.

Nokia Lumia 920 seems to follow the architect of N9 and Lumia 900 & 800. Consumers might feel bit let down as 920 has nothing new to offer in terms of design, though it looks beautiful. Nokia has made use of polycarbonate plastic to get a unibody design and comes in a glossy finish. The device measures around 130.3 x 70.8 x 10.7 mm and weighs 185 grams, making it large and bit heavy.

But one thing what amazed us is that Nokia has used ceramic buttons, which indicates that the camera plate won’t attract those scratches anymore. Also, the phone is powered with QualcommDual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and uses Adreno 225 GPU, this means multitasking and navigating is sure to be easy  and hassle-free.

This flagship model from Nokia operates on Windows OS and comes with strong spec sheet; so right now talking about the shortcomings does not seems to be good idea. The phone comes with pop-out SIM card slot but does not include any microSD card slot. We bet users won’t find the need to have microSD card as phone comes with 32GB internal storage and has been integrated with 1GB RAM.
